Having struggled with 13 losses in a row dating back to last season, Toutle Lake turned things around against Mossyrock on Thursday. They took down the Vikings 58-42.

Meanwhile, Adna entered their tilt with Winlock on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went their way against the Cardinals as they made off with a 66-44 victory. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Cardinals are ranked 273rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Adna pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Toutle Lake, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.
