Basketball Game Preview: Milford Spartans vs. Lebanon Raiders

The Milford Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Lebanon Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Milford is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Laconia just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. The matchup between them and the Sachems didn't end well, with Milford falling 50-35. The loss was the Spartans' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Lebanon hadn't done well against Hanover recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Lebanon greeted the New Year with with a 45-30 victory over Hanover. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Having lost for the first time this season, Milford fell to 3-1. As for Lebanon, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Milford opened the new year with a less-than-successful 46-33 defeat to Lebanon. Can Milford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
