Baseball Recap: St. Stephens Takes a Loss

St. Stephens lost against East Lincoln on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by just one run.

St. Stephens has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for East Lincoln, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Stephens is set to face off against their familiar foe West Iredell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Lincoln will take on rival Statesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
