Football Game Recap: Fairfield vs. South Haven

South Haven put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They took the match and then some with a 45-0 win over Fairfield. South Haven were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

South Haven found South Haven's leader in underclassman sophomore Cooper Wolf, who rushed for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns. Sophomore Cooper Wolf was in the mix, too, providing South Haven with four touchdowns.

The victory was the 3rd in a row for South Haven, as they raised their record to 4-3. Fairfield are on a four-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week South Haven take on Central Christian at 7:00 PM. Central Christian have averaged 75 points over the course of their past six games, so South Haven might be in for a challenge. Fairfield will take on Norwich at home at 7:00 PM.
