Spring Woods extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Tavionn Pickens. The Spring Woods Tigers blew past the Milby Buffs, posting a 76-36 win thanks in part to Pickens, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

Cole Delagarza was another key player, putting up nine points. Those nine points gave him a new career-high.

Milby's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Knowledge Gage, who posted five points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Washington, who scored six points and nine boards.

Spring Woods has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Milby, they dropped their record down to 6-20 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Spring Woods and Milby will both be playing Waltrip the next time they take the court. Milby will head out to face Waltrip at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, while Spring Woods will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
