Franklin is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Tennessee's top teams: Summit, who was ranked fifth at the time (Franklin was ranked fourth). The Admirals lost 3-0 to the Spartans on Tuesday. The Admirals' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

While Franklin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Brentwood made easy work of Page on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Brentwood never let Page on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-22, 25-12.

Brentwood's win came from a few key players Franklin will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Queen Howse, who had 13 digs and two assists. Lindsey Large was another key player, getting 17 assists and five digs.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Brentwood, their victory bumped their record up to 22-4.
