Lawson can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They never let the Glencliff Colts get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lightning, who have now won five matches by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Elliot Swihart made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Swihart was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.
