It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Mishawaka ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over the Warsaw Tigers. The Cavemen haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Mishawaka's record now sits at 12-5. As for Warsaw, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mishawaka is set to take on their familiar foe Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Warsaw will face off against rival Wawasee at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
