Baseball Game Preview: Caldera vs. Summit Storm

For the second straight game, Caldera will face off against Summit. Caldera will welcome Summit at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Caldera is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Caldera came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Summit, falling 10-1. Caldera has struggled against Summit recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The victory (which was Summit's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Caldera, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
