It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but James River Midlothian had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They beat the Midlothian Trojans by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but James River Midlothian sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

James River Midlothian pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those six contests. As for Midlothian, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-2.

Coming up, James River Midlothian will square off against Godwin on Friday. Godwin's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Midlothian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
