Baseball Recap: Central Catholic Victorious

On Monday, the Central Catholic Vikings beat the Highlands Golden Rams 7-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Sam Luedde led a balanced Vikings bullpen and tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

On the hitting side, CJ Proch was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Pettyjohn, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Central Catholic's record is now 2-0. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Central Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwin at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Highlands, they will square off against West Shamokin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
