Recap: Vision vs. Non Varsity Opponent

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garden Valley, Vision were happy to have found some success on Friday. They slipped by Non Varsity Opponent 58-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Isaac Bay was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Ingram, who scored 12 points along with three steals.

Vision's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 57-147-1 record this season.

Vision and Horseshoe Bend will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Horseshoe Bend is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.3 points per game. Non Varsity Opponent is on the road again on Friday and play against Johnson City at 10:30 a.m. on December 29, 2023. Johnson City will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
