Football Recap: Gettysburg Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 52-6, which was the final score in the Gettysburg Battlers's tilt against the Stanley County Buffalos on Friday.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Chase Fureli, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Gettysburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Stanley County, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

As of now, neither Gettysburg nor the Buffalos have any future games scheduled.
