Fort Dorchester and Ashley Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Fort Dorchester had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Swamp Foxes by a score of 2-1. Fort Dorchester's defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Rudy Aguilar, who's now up to 14 this season.

Fort Dorchester's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Ashley Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Fort Dorchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ashley Ridge, they will challenge James Island at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. James Island will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ashley Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
