Football Recap: Knox Balcer Leads D'evelyn's Defense on Friday + How To Watch

If Arvada wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played D'Evelyn, they should've done a better job of containing Kevyn Feldon. The Jaguars blew past the Bulldogs 41-12 on Friday for which the team can thank Feldon, who rushed for 87 yards and a pair of scores. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 64 yards.

D'Evelyn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Knox Balcer, Zachary Copeland, and Wes Zuniga picked up one apiece. Zuniga got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win snapped D'Evelyn's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Arvada, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, D'Evelyn will challenge Alameda at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Arvada, they will take on Brush at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
