Volleyball Recap: Cincinnati Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Batavia on Saturday, Cincinnati Christian came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Hamilton Big Blue on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Big Blue: they've now lost three in a row.

Serena Cyprien paced Cincinnati Christian's offense, picking up eight kills. Cyprien got some help from Anna Bowling and her 23 assists. Anna-Kate Young controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cincinnati Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Hamilton, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Cincinnati Christian will face off against Fayetteville-Perry at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hamilton, they will take on Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
