Basketball Recap: Newaygo Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Newaygo duked it out withGrant on Friday. The Newaygo Lions had to suffer through a 92-31 loss at the hands of the Grant Tigers. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Newaygo and nudges their season record down to 5-8. As for Grant, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Newaygo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-65 victory against Hesperia on the 1st. Grant has also already played their next match, a 63-36 win against Fremont on the 1st.
