There's no place like home for Uvalde, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars 11-10. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-5 back in March.

BELLA BUENO was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was SOPHIA LONGORIA, who went 4-for-5 with two RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Uvalde kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matchups.

The win got Uvalde back to even at 13-13-1. As for Floresville, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-18.
