It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Granger had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Box Elder Bees 26-23. Winning may never get old, but the Lancers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Sunia Fifita was his usual excellent self, rushing for 180 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. Granger also got help from Brighton Webb, who showed off his sure hands for 81 receiving yards.
Granger wouldn't let Box Elder keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. Granger can thank Pita Tofavaha and Tevita Kofe for forcing all of them.
Granger pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Box Elder, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
