Velva barely beat Bishop Ryan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aggies blew past the Lions 3-0 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aggies.

Velva never let Bishop Ryan on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-22.

Keely Cadwell was the offensive standout of the match as she had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Velva's victory bumped their record up to 12-8-1. As for Bishop Ryan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season.
