Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stockton). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Adrian Blackhawks on Friday, sneaking past 50-48. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Tigers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Blackhawks are ranked 95th).

Stockton's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-7. As for Adrian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Stockton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Diamond at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Adrian, they will venture away from home to square off against Lone Jack at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
