Preview: George West Longhorns vs. Aransas Pass Panthers

Last Friday, George West suffered a tough 51-26 defeat at the hands of Goliad. George West has not had much luck with Goliad recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, George West had strong showings from William Balew, who scored nine points, and Nathan Cantu, who scored six points along with three steals.
George West struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They are 1-2 when they just don't pass the ball.
In what's become a running theme this season, Aransas Pass gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 76-51 margin over Odem.
George West's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Aransas Pass, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-16 record this season.
George West was dealt a bruising 104-62 defeat at the hands of Aransas Pass in their previous meeting back in January. Can George West avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
