Marlboro Central entered their tilt with Highland on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Huskies. The Dukes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Marlboro Central's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Highland, they dropped their record down to 7-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Marlboro Central will host Saugerties at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Dukes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sawyers have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Highland, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pine Plains at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bombers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
