Soccer Recap: Calaveras Find Success

Calaveras won the last time they faced Escalon and things went their way on Monday too. The Calaveras Red Hawks had just enough and edged the Escalon Cougars out 3-2.

Calaveras hit Escalon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from David Valentine, Jayden Gonzales, and Tony Cardenas.

Calaveras now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Escalon, they dropped their record down to 1-5-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Calaveras will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bret Harte at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Escalon, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Sonora on the 18th.
