Softball Recap: John Jay Comes Up Short

John Jay and Eastchester squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but John Jay had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6. The Wolves have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

John Jay's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Eastchester, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither John Jay nor Eastchester have any future games scheduled.
