Football Recap: Jamestown Comes Up Short

Jamestown suffered their biggest defeat since September 20, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the Grand Forks Central Knights 39-7. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Grand Forks Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jamestown will face off against Central Cass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grand Forks Central, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Dickinson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
