Blue Ridge lost to St. Johns back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Redskins. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

Their offense was headlined by Makenzie Smith and Chloe York, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Brianna Robison and her 24 assists. Viola Lissoni controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory got Blue Ridge back to even at 9-9. As for St. Johns, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Blue Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Snowflake on the 20th. As for St. Johns, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hopi on the 25th.
