Baseball Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Trinity Trojans

The Normandy Invaders are taking a road trip to square off against the Trinity Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Normandy hasn't scored more than a single run for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Normandy fell victim to Dover and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Crimson Tornadoes.

Normandy got a good showing from Evan Lucas, who struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk).

At the plate, Normandy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victor Reyes, who went 2-for-4 with one double. Those two hits gave Reyes a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Trinity took care of business in their home opener (barely) back in February. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Young, sneaking past 7-6.

Normandy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
