After a string of four wins, Midland Legacy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Midland Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 3rd.

While Midland Legacy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-22.

Midland Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 30-13. As for Midland, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Midland Legacy is set to square off against their familiar foe Permian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Midland will challenge rival San Angelo Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
