Basketball Recap: Eagan Comes Up Short

Eagan lost to Apple Valley back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 75-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.

Eagan dropped their record down to 9-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Apple Valley, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Eagan will take on Eastview at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be up against the Lightning's rather soft defense (which has allowed 69.94 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Apple Valley, they will face off against Rosemount at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Irish have now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
