Merritt Island had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 48-38 win over the Titusville Terriers. That ten point margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Merritt Island's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-7. As for Titusville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Merritt Island won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Astronaut at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Titusville, they and Cocoa Beach will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
