After only 13 points in their last match, Zion-Benton made sure to put some points up on the board against Waukegan on Saturday. The Zee-Bees claimed a resounding 40-6 victory over the Bulldogs. Given the Zee-Bees' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 113th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Victoria Hunter had a dynamite game, rushing for 115 yards and three TDs on only six carries, while also picking up 111 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

The win got Zion-Benton back to even at 1-1. As for Waukegan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Zion-Benton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 46-12 victory against Mundelein on the 30th. As for Waukegan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 26-25 loss against Warren Township on the 2nd.
