First Baptist School waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They took down the Northwood Academy Chargers 57-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-46 back in January.

Northwood Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maliyah Birch, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Birch is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 23 games she's played dating back to last season. Alyvia Tocco was another key player, going 5 for 11 on her way to 11 points.

First Baptist School's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.5 points over those games. As for Northwood Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
