Basketball Recap: Maplewood Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Maplewood lost to Glencliff back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Maplewood Panthers walked away with a 54-45 victory over the Glencliff Colts. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Maplewood's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Glencliff, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Maplewood will face off against Lawson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lawson will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Maplewood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Glencliff, they will host Hume-Fogg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
