Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Levi Serrano and Edris Asadi Lead Concord to Victory

The Concord Bears made easy work of the Summit K2 Dragons on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-18, 25-9.

Leading Concord to victory were Edris Asadi and Levi Serrano. Asadi had four digs and four aces, while Serrano had nine aces and four digs. Serrano is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Summit K2, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pittsburg at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Summit K2, they will take on Emery at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
