Soccer Recap: Walhalla Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After soaring to five goals the game before, Walhalla was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palmetto Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Palmetto this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Tuesday.

Walhalla's goal came courtesy of Sam Resendiz, who's now up to six this season.

Walhalla's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Palmetto, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Walhalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palmetto, they will venture away from home to square off against Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southside Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Palmetto surely won't give up without a fight.
