Volleyball Game Preview: West Shores Wildcats vs. Brawley Wildcats

We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. Brawley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on West Shores, who comes in off a win.

West Shores not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 16, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Calexico Mission. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the RoadRunners recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

West Shores never let Calexico Mission on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-15, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Brawley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Chula Vista.

Brawley's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for West Shores, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

West Shores was able to grind out a solid victory over Brawley when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will West Shores repeat their success, or does Brawley has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
