Baseball Recap: James F. Byrnes Extends Winning Streak to Three

While James F. Byrnes's victory against Clover wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rebels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Blue Eagles on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Rebels, who have now won three games in a row.

The team relied heavily on Connor Crenshaw, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Hulehan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs.

James F. Byrnes was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clover only posted a batting average of .192.

James F. Byrnes' win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Clover, they dropped their record down to 14-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

James F. Byrnes will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blue Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
