After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christian Heritage Academy, Southwest Virginia Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Conquerors have posted since October 5, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-107) Southwest Virginia Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 20-25, 27-25, 25-23, 15-12.
