Basketball Recap: Bushwick Comes Up Short

Bushwick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 107-8 defeat at the hands of the Brooklyn Law & Tech Jets. The Tigers lost against the Jets in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 999-0 score last time.

Bushwick's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Brooklyn Law & Tech, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bushwick will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Banneker Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Banneker Academy's defense has only allowed 27.4 points per game this season, so Bushwick's offense will have their work cut out for them. Brooklyn Law & Tech and White Plains will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on December 27th.
