North Davidson got themselves on the board against Asheboro on Thursday, but Asheboro never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Blue Comets. The Black Knights haven't had any issues with the Blue Comets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Valerieh Juarez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. Katelyn Sears was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

North Davidson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

North Davidson pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Asheboro, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Coming up, North Davidson will challenge Central Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Asheboro, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dudley at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
