Volleyball Recap: King's Academy Triumphs

King's Academy won the last time they faced The Nueva School and things went their way on Saturday too. The Knights came out on top against the Mavericks by a score of 2-0.

Despite the loss, The Nueva School still got an impressive performance from Lucy Kim, who had ten aces. Kim has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Vivian Ma, who had six kills and two aces.

King's Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for The Nueva School, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King's Academy will take on Soquel at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Nueva School, they will venture away from home to square off against Castilleja at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
