Basketball Recap: Chase Comes Up Short

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They fell 69-62 to the Polk County Wolverines. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

It was another big night for Aaron Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 15 boards for Polk County. Jackson's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Littlejohn, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Chase's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Polk County, their win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.

Chase wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 83-59 defeat against Patton on the 17th. Polk County has also already played their next contest, a 60-39 loss against East Rutherford on the 17th.
