Basketball Recap: Ogden Tigers vs. Juab Wasps
Ogden and Juab squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Ogden had to settle for second. They fell 71-59 to the Juab Wasps. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wasps earlier this season, when they won 64-56.
It was another big night for Austin Park, who went 10-for-20 en route to 28 points and four steals for Juab. Park's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Jay Rowley was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.
Ogden has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Juab, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.
Ogden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Juab, they will square off against South Summit at 9:30 a.m. on February 24th. Juab has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three games.
