Harvey had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past the Berkshire Badgers with points to spare, taking the game 57-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Berkshire lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sam Barcikoski, who threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 45 yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Oliver Miller, who gained 133 total yards and two touchdowns.

Coming up, Harvey will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berkshire, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Hawken at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
