Softball Recap: Harrisburg Picks Up 11th Straight Win on the Road

Harrisburg won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Kylie Visker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Ava Gross was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Kennedy Kokenge was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.

Harrisburg pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will face off against Roosevelt at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington, they will square off against Tea at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
