Recap: Lithonia Bulldogs vs. Tucker Tigers
The Lithonia Bulldogs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 55-6 defeat at the hands of Tucker. Lithonia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.
Tucker's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Mccoy, who rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Mccoy hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamar Graham, who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns.
Lithonia's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 3.0 points per game. As for Tucker, the win was the fourth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Lithonia will head out on the road to face off against Chamblee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tucker, they will be playing at home against Arabia Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd.
