Soccer Game Preview: Quincy vs. Maple Valley

The Quincy Orioles will challenge the Maple Valley Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Quincy will be strutting in after a win while Maple Valley will be coming in after a loss.

Quincy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Bronson as they made off with a 4-0 victory. Quincy haven't had any issues with Bronson recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Maple Valley scored the most goals they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Bronson by a score of 4-3. The defeat continues a trend for Maple Valley in their meetings with Bronson: they've now lost five in a row.

Maple Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Quincy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything went Quincy's way against Maple Valley when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Quincy made off with an 8-0 victory. Do the Orioles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
