Recap: Southern Missouri RUSH * vs. Greenfield Wildcats
The Southern Missouri RUSH * stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Greenfield 42-20. Given Southern Missouri RUSH's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while Greenfield is ranked 507th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Lillian Mindeman was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Addie Sims was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Southern Missouri RUSH pushed their record up to 19-6 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Greenfield, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.
Southern Missouri RUSH won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mid-Missouri HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m. on February 9th. As for Greenfield, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hume at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hume will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Greenfield surely won't give up without a fight.
