Baseball Game Preview: Berkner Rams vs. Nimitz Vikings

For the second straight game, Berkner will face off against Nimitz. The Rams will welcome the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Berkner is headed into the game having just posted their closest victory since April 8, 2025 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Nimitz 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

For Nimitz's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damien Franco, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Austin Minter also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Nimitz is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10. As for Berkner, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.
